How LARE Began
Hey y’all, I’m Mary, the founder of LARE. I grew up in Louisiana loving local boutiques and the way they made shopping feel personal, welcoming, and fun. When I moved to Dallas, I wanted to create another option here. A place that felt more like a boutique experience and less like a traditional mall trip. A store that feels like home, where getting dressed feels easier, and where you are not shopping alone.
I have always had an entrepreneurial spirit, even before LARE existed. I started my career in tech, but I kept coming back to the idea of building something of my own that centered around people, style, and community. That idea is what became LARE.

LARE grew from years of shopping with my sisters, dressing four different personalities, trading honest opinions, and learning how to find great pieces at a wide range of price points. That experience shaped the way I curate LARE today. We focus on pieces that work for real life, across different styles, budgets, and moments, so getting dressed feels easier and more personal.
